We attended Disney on Ice this past Saturday. I will not bore you with all the Disney marketing details. If you want you can read a post from last year where I discussed this in some detail.

Happy Turkey Day!
Things we (mostly I) am/are thankful for:
Yard (Junk) Sale
Recently our homeowner’s association put on a semi-annual community-wide yard sale, and we decided to partake.
Our family ran our first 5K together this weekend. Wait a second here, stop, stop, Stop! Judy and I ran the 5K. Blake and Brayden rode in the stroller while mom and dad took turns pushing. Let me tell you one thing, pushing a stroller in a race is not fun, especially when starting in the back of the race.
Spooky Fun!
Another All Hallow’s Eve has come and gone. As our kids get older the more fun it seems to become.
State Fair of Texas
Well another year, another State Fair of Texas. Let’s see, what did we do this year.
Up, Up, and Away
Can you really go wrong with Pirate Balloons? Me thinks not, Arghhh!. We attended the Plano Balloon Festival over the weekend. This is our 3rd straight balloon festival with the kids.
Twilight Festival
The City of Allen had a Twilight Festival at Joe Farmer Recreational Center over the weekend. Even though at 7 pm the temperatures were still 100° plus (just like the entire rest of July) we decided to attend.
Allen USA Celebration
Great Times at the Annual Allen USA Celebration this past weekend. If you don’t believe me read this article. Brayden found a bounce house with a slide. Blake found the arts and crafts tent.
Parade of Champions
You hear all sorts of things about these type of events. Just crazy. A quarter of a million people, 100+ degree heat, parking, driving, and mass transits issues. You are just crazy! Well, that I am.
