I decided to skip trick-or-treating with my kids this year to check something off my “Bucket List”. (Rant: Isn’t it about time we had a new name for this thing called Bucket List, please?) Attend a World Series game - √.

Halloween 2010 has come and gone. Unfortunately, I missed this years festivities as I was attending a World Series game. For more on that see my next post. However, the rest of the family did partake.
We attended a Disney Live event over the weekend at the Allen Events Center. The show was called Mickey’s Rockin’ Road Show. Now I will give it to Mickey and his crew, they do put on an entertaining show. Blake and Brayden really enjoyed the show and that is the important thing. No complaints from us.
The State Fair of Texas is hard to describe in words. The only word that comes to mind is awesome. Back in Cedar Rapids, IA where I am originally from, my school and church put on the biggest festival in Cedar Rapids, The St. Jude Sweet Corn Festival.
