Can you really go wrong with Pirate Balloons? Me thinks not, Arghhh!. We attended the Plano Balloon Festival over the weekend. This is our 3rd straight balloon festival with the kids. Every year we have a lot of fun. I guess this is why we keep going back. Last year we went Friday night to see the balloon glow, but that was a little late for the kids. This year we attended early Saturday morning, and I must say we enjoyed it. The balloons did not fly out again this year, but they did inflate so we were able to see how impressive each of them truly are. The crowds were not bad either. The kids were able to go into the kids activity tent and participate in each activity without waiting. Waiting in activity tents can be a beating. You parents know what I’m talking about. I have a feeling we will be back again next year. One of these years we’d like to get to Albuquerque, NM for the grandest of balloon festivals, but I think a few trips to Disney will take precedence. At least in our immediate future they will.
Hey Plano, maybe next year you could get us a Donald Duck balloon and we could have the best of both worlds. Sort of anyway.
