Add my name to the list of those, yes you are out there, that have been burnt by the word “Ready” in advertisements. A few weeks ago I finally got around to picking out a 10 year work anniversary gift from a collection of assorted things. They use to give out a Rolex. Ahh, those were the days.

With the plethora of children’s toys currently available, it is amazing what kind of joy a good old empty box will bring to a child’s face. I’m sure other parents have spent plenty of money on a toy only to have their son or daughter more interested in the box than the toy.

Paris, tres beau!
In spring 2009 we made the journey to Paris, France to see Aunt Renee. Blake was elated to get to spend time with his aunt. To this day he talks about his Aunt Renee. Renee and Jerome were gracious hosts.
99.9% of the time this would not be a blog worthy topic for a website. When it’s your first we will give Bray that liberty.
Potty Party
Can I just leave it at that. Please? Yeah, I did not think so. My wife had a idea a while back to use what I will call the bribe of a party to entice my eldest son, Blake, into using his potty. Of course I’m in, no way is this going to work, right? Well, wrong once again.
Project Complete
I’m not sure any of my projects are ever what i would call “Complete”, but this has to be the closest I’ve come. I should say we, Brent and I have finished what we wanted to therefore in my book that is complete. I will update soon with a pics and a timeline of the project.
You know everyone loved building them as a kid. When I was a kid we would make inside forts out of couch cushions, chairs, sheets, blankets, pillows, basically any material we could find that my mom would not look at and scream, ” What have you done.”
