- not the setup (btw, tent poles suck)
- not the cleanup
- not the dirty bathrooms or no bathrooms at all
- not the bugs, mosquitoes and chiggers to name a few
- not that tents lack air-conditioning, and in Texas well, let’s just say do not bother unrolling the sleeping bag
Nope, none of these are it. It is missing your son enough to drive home and forgo the night in a tent. My wife called me to let me know that my son Blake missed me and together they decided to make a shadow box of my (okay I know) non-experience.
