You know everyone loved building them as a kid. When I was a kid we would make inside forts out of couch cushions, chairs, sheets, blankets, pillows, basically any material we could find that my mom would not look at and scream, ” What have you done.”
By the way, she did that a lot with me, not so much my sister, but me, oh yeah. Outside forts were made out of two-by-fours and old sheets of plywood. They had a life span of about 2-3 days.
Now that I have kids lets just say the fort building has become a little more … modern. 🙂
