Dilbert can be brilliant at times
Most people know how much I love Iowa Hawkeye football. Growing up in Iowa, Hawkeye football was a religion. I’ve been to several bowl games in the past, but last year I missed the Insight Bowl in Phoenix. Well, I wasn’t going to miss it this year. Especially, since it was the same bowl in Phoenix against an Oklahoma Sooner team I’ve seen a lot of living in Big 12 country. I went with my good friend Aaron and we stayed at his good friend Jarod’s house in Phoenix. It was a real quick out and back, one day trip. Jarod set everything up for us and it was awesome. I’m not sure we could thank him enough.
Ever since we started attending Allen American Hockey games, Blake has wanted to ice skate.
Good Riddance 2011. I for one am glad to put 2011 in the rear view mirror. Therefore, I’m not looking back.Â
Yes he truly does. He did a good job in checking things off our kids respective lists. For Blake a drum set and microphone. For Brayden a dump truck and a fire truck.
Lots of people say a marathon is a 20-mile warm-up followed by a 10K race. A friend of mine said a marathon is a 20-mile warm-up followed by a 10K race followed by the hardest 5K race you will ever run — much better!

Santa came a little early this year to the Clancy family. The big guy dropped off a 6-week old Beagle puppy named Finley or Fin or Fin-Fin or Finner. This depends on which kid you ask and when you ask them. Our family now runs six strong. One adult, three kids (including myself here), one fish, and one dog!
