Ever since we started attending Allen American Hockey games, Blake has wanted to ice skate. He was able to see what skates felt like at Dickens on the Square, but their setup was small, and it was not real ice. We enrolled Blake in the Allen Academy of Skating. It is just an intro class where they teach the kids how to stand, slowly move around, and of course fall.
In summary, he was on real ice, he seemed to enjoy it, and he wants to go back. That’s a win in my book for now.
Now if I can just get a stick in his hands.
