Happy New Year

Good Riddance 2011. I for one am glad to put 2011 in the rear view mirror. Therefore, I’m not looking back.

Christmas Songs

  1. Holly Jolly Christmas (Ives as a singing look-alike snowman in Rudolph, top that!)
  2. When My Heart Finds Christmas (Connick at his best)
  3. Rudolph (everyone and I mean everyone knows the words)
  4. Little Drummer Boy (Bing and Bowie, can’t work can it?)
  5. Winter Wonderland (always made me think of the Budweiser Clydesdale’s)
  6. Silver Bells (ahh, reminds me of being in a big city at Christmas)
  7. Oh Holy Night (religious, Groban, and greatness)
  8. Let It Snow! (never said this growing up in Iowa, Buble’s version is a classic)
  9. Christmas Wrapping (yes, a little ditsy)
  10. Same Old Lang Syne (yes, a little sappy)

New Family Addition – Ruff, Ruff!

Santa came a little early this year to the Clancy family. The big guy dropped off a 6-week old Beagle puppy named Finley or Fin or Fin-Fin or Finner. This depends on which kid you ask and when you ask them. Our family now runs six strong. One adult, three kids (including myself here), one fish, and one dog!

Dickens on the Square

We attended “Dickens on the Square” today in Mckinney, Texas. Other than the fact that it was a cold day outside for us Texans, mid 40s with 15-20 mph winds, we had a wonderful time.
