Santa came a little early this year to the Clancy family. The big guy dropped off a 6-week old Beagle puppy named Finley or Fin or Fin-Fin or Finner. This depends on which kid you ask and when you ask them. Our family now runs six strong. One adult, three kids (including myself here), one fish, and one dog!
Finley, a female Beagle, has been everything you would expect in a pup. Rambunctious yet lovable at the same time. The scratches up and down our legs prove the rambunctious part and the pictures prove the lovable part. We forgot about the puppy phase with sharp nails and baby teeth. The kids love her. Blake has always been a little scared of dogs, but he is starting to warm up now. He even wants Finley to sleep in his room.
I think we will wait a while until Finley is out of her puppy phase before that happens.
Of course, Finley being a Beagle means she is a hound dog. We can’t wait until she gets her vocal chops. Actually, we can.

Gotta run, I think she just chewed through the Christmas tree lights!
