We took Blake to see his first movie, Cars 2, in a theater this past weekend. We actually gave him a choice between Winnie the Pooh and Cars 2. He chose Cars 2, whew! The movie was entertaining. Blake loved the whole experience. From the hot dog, to handing them the tickets to get in, to sitting in the big relaxing chairs with a booster seat, to the several trips to the bathroom, and maybe the best part, to doing something his little brother couldn’t do yet. He made it about two-thirds of the way through the movie before his attention gave out and he wanted to play. Besides there were several kids playing in the aisles, so we couldn’t blame him. Oh well, we’re fairly certain there will be many more movies. Make that certain. The next day while we were eating, Blake looks up at us and says, “Can we go see the Cars movie again.” Yep, that’s our son.
