We love to find free family outings in our area. One of the things we recently found and started doing is taking the kids for bedtime stories at a bookstore called, “a Real Bookstore“. The kids go in their PJs and hear a story or two or three. Afterwards they do a craft, and then they eat a before bedtime snack (aka cookie). I think the kids have enjoyed going. The only thing is they don’t know the difference between a bookstore and a library. Too much temptation on the shelves at a bookstore. They want to check out all the books. If only bookstores worked that way.
