This week we had a wonderful time getting to visit with family. Aunt Molly and cousin Justus came to town. Justus and Brayden are the same age. It is fun to watch them, along with Blake, become playmates. We enjoyed watching them run around in circles chasing each other and the best were the “group hugs” when they said “good-bye.” Aunt Molly is the cool kind of aunt most kids would love to have. She gets down on their level and engages with them. We were sad to see them go. The kids keep asking if we can go and see them “tomorrow!’.
We enjoyed going to the Dallas Children’s Aquarium and the Natural Science Museum in Fair Park. We had never been to either of these two spots before. We did the whirlwind tour of the Aquarium and ended up missing out on some of the hands on fun, but there is always next time. The Natural Science Museum was really neat! Lots of cools stuff for the little ones to engage in. Including a “Magic School Bus” exhibit, a play fire station, a play house, an amazing water table, and a pretty cool farm-yard. Definitely one to repeat. The had a great time and wore themselves out! The last pictures of them on the DART rail are proof positive. Three tuckered out little ones!
Aunt Molly and Justus come back soon. Next time bring uncle Jimmy!
