Every time my husband says “write a quick blog” it means I get to comment on another milestone passed. So, here we go again. Bittersweet as it is today was Blake’s first day of Kindergarten.
More sweet than bitter, although I found myself a tad sentimental throughout the day and ever worried “what if he doesn’t like school and doesn’t want to go back?” Well, all sediment and worry aside as we received the final report. Day one down and a hit! He had a great day. Eager to share his new backpacks worth of art and writing and excited to feel like such a little man. When asked if he was ready for day two, as he has to walk himself in tomorrow he commented “I can figure this out.” Okay, Kindergarten I can manage… the thought of graduation let’s talk about that in 13 years.. We are so proud of you Blake!
