Ranger’s Opening Day 2011

April Fools Day, 10 am start, 25 friends and friends of friends, a lot of beer, 40 brats, 4 sausage rolls, several jerk chicken thighs, 2-3 lbs of garlic chicken strips, 60 or so tortillas, 3-4 bags of peanuts, a lot of chips, throw in some M&Ms and a little antacid. Add it all up and you have one hell of a successful Tailgater Party.
Follow that up with 85 degree weather, a B-52 flyover, good seats where we could see the new scoreboard (see below), at lot of laughs, some good banter, and a Texas Rangers victory 9-5 over the Boston Red Sox.  Add all that up and you have one hell of a Texas Rangers Opening Day!
