Or is it. We purchased a new refrigerator a few weeks ago from Lowes. It is a Samsung French Door style refrigerator. Our old one still worked, but its glory days were long ago.
Both the ice maker and water dispenser were broken. Most of the drawers were broken as well. Going to the store twice a week to get ice was getting old. We finally had enough.
When they put the new one in funny thing is, we actually thought we received the wrong one. It seemed smaller than our original one. However, once we put all of the food back in, we were like wow, looks can be deceiving. We are two weeks in and love it. The French doors really give us a better view of what’s there.
We all know they do not make refrigerators like they use to. Too many bells, whistles, and electronic gizmos. A friend’s 8 yr old refrigerator was recently replaced and the installer said, “you know the average life span of one of these things is only about 7 yrs.” My friend then stated, “yeah, tell that to my 20 yr old one in the garage.”
Here’s hoping to the fact that they do make them like they use to. I’ll let you know in 7 years.
