Had to say goodbye to my Bronco. It had finally run its course with me. One of those maintenance vs value vs time dilemmas we all must face with our vehicles at some point. The Bronco was magical to me. Back in high school my friend Joe would drive us around in his. That is when I got the itch. About 10 years ago I was finally able to scratch that itch. (Old Hayden Fry’ism there if anyone is paying attention).
Thank you for all the trips to the lake, pulling the boat, carrying all the camping gear, for all the trips to opening day and never complaining about the brat and stale beer smells, thank you for getting me to all the bike rallies and triathlon training missions. Thanks for making me learn how to drive a truck in Texas, how to appreciate my A/C in the Accord, how to use my odometer as a gas gauge. Thanks for for almost sinking Brent and Dan in the lake when your master cylinder went out (still laughing), and for all the other times. I’m certain you will help the new owner with the parts he needs.
Goodbye old buddy, it was a wonderful run!
