Decided to take Good Friday off and take the kids to the Dallas Zoo. I had not seen the new Giants of the Savanna area. I must say, impressive. I have a feeling the Elephants, the Giraffes, and the Cheetahs are much happier now.We had a really good time. Blake and Brayden both played quite a bit in the Children’s Zoo area. They ran through the little river, hung out in an egg, petted and fed some goats, and Blake even got to touch a snake. To top that off, just as we were leaving, a zoo employee talked us into going to the very first Bird Show at the zoo. The show was a good time. Then of course both kiddos fell asleep on the ride home.
Just as they should after a long fun day!
